This past week, Yesupadam and 2 of our pastors traveled by road (8 hours each way) for 2 days to Orissa and Jagdalpur (states north of Andhra Pradesh), through very dangerous areas in order to visit and encourage our pastors, church members and Bible School students. Because of the past persecution, he hadn’t gone there in many years. The dear people there were so thrilled to receive them, and the Lord mercifully protected as they traveled on a forest road at night, where they later found out that 13 police were killed by Communists sometime after they had passed through! Yesupadam was able to visit the church being constructed in the village where, if you remember the story, the young pregnant mother was beaten and lost 2 babies in 2 weeks, and the persecutors were later saved and baptized! This church is being built in a remote area surrounded by 15 villages, all without proper roads, electricity, good drinking water, and medical facilities. We have seen over and over how the Lord transforms complete villages and areas when we bring the gospel and plant a church! Pray with us that these areas will be BLESSED with the basic commodities of life! As the locals see our Jesus bringing blessings to their villages, they know He is a miracle working God and many will come to Him! Already over 100 new believers were baptized in July alone! Praise the Lord for VICTORY in advancing His Kingdom. Check out these wonderful photos of Yesupadam’s trip!
